Born in 1994, Sergio Huertas is an eclectic singer and songwriter currently based in Barcelona. Inspired by artists such as Banks, Lorde and Björk, his compositions combine slightly aggressive drums with electro-pop synthesizers. His lyrics often address love-heartbreak, relationships between members of the LGBTQ + community or the night world, and how the artist personally navigates through all of this.

Sergio, who makes his own production sketches, came to my studio with the idea to boost the sound of his demo and take it to a professional pop song, by working on a new sound production.

To achieve that, we re-synthesized and re-designed the layers of the song, finding the right sound for each element. We also worked on the dynamics of the song by distributing the energy accurately on each section, creating a feeling of evolution and progressiveness to keep the listener's attention. In the process, we made space for each percussive and melodic element trough mix techniques, and also composed a strings arrangement for the song's bridge.
