More than 10 years exploring different paths in music, have lead Manu Torres (Alicante, 1995) to work as a composer, producer/arranger & sound designer not only for his projects, but for other artists'.
As a solo act under the alias ETHR (/ether/), his works are often defined by the use of a few resources taken to the limit. With a language that combines elements of minimalism, ambient and electronic music, the artist creates immersive landscapes aimed to an active listening.
However, as a producer and arranger, his work has been mainly acclaimed by Spanish neo-folk artists and performers such as Joana Dark or Álvaro Sola who with the aim to revisit and transform traditional music from their regions, have counted on his electronic arrangements, modern production & sound design techniques. The works he has been involved into, have often caught the attention of mainstream and specialized Spanish media such as RTVE, TV3, iCat Radio, ÀPunt or DJ Mag among others.

Más de 10 años explorando los más diversos caminos en la música, han llevado a Manu Torres (Alicante, 1995) a trabajar como compositor, productor, arreglista y diseñador sonoro no sólo en sus proyectos, sino en los de otros artistas.
Como solista bajo el alias ETHR (/éter/), sus obras a menudo se definen por el uso de unos pocos recursos llevados al límite. Con un lenguaje que combina elementos del minimalismo, la electrónica y la música ambient, el artista crea paisajes inmersivos destinados a la escucha activa.
En otra dirección, como productor y arreglista, su trabajo se ubica principalmente con artistas e intérpretes de la última ola neo-folk como Joana Dark o Álvaro Sola, quienes con el objetivo de revisitar y acercar la música tradicional de sus regiones a un contexto sonoro actual, han contado con sus arreglos, producción y diseño sonoro. Algunos de estos trabajos han llamado la atención de medios convencionales y especializados como RTVE, TV3, iCat Radio, ÀPunt o DJ Mag entre otros.
